The OPD Work List is the central hub for managing daily outpatient flow. It has two tabs: Patients and Appointments.

Patients Tab

Displays all patients whose visits have been created, organized by status:

Status	Description
Registered	Visit created but consultation not started
In Progress	EMR consultation has been initiated by the doctor
Discharged	Visit signed and patient discharged

Access is permission-based — users see patients based on their assigned role and department.

Starting a Consultation

1. Find the patient in the Registered section
2. Click on the patient row to initiate the visit
3. The system navigates to the EMR (Electronic Medical Record) module
4. The patient moves to "In Progress" automatically

Completing a Visit

After the doctor signs the encounter in the EMR, the patient moves to "Discharged" status.

Appointments Tab

Lists all appointments with filter options:

• Department
• Care Provider
• Status
• Date Range
• Appointment Number
• MRN

Available Actions

• Mark Arrival — Confirm patient has arrived
• View Encounter Details — See past encounter information
• View Patient Profile — Open patient summary
• Print Visit Summary — For signed visits only
• Block Time — Block session time with reason
• Include Cancel toggle — Show/hide cancelled appointments
