Configure wards, beds, and locations in AndroHealth HIMS — private rooms, surgical theatres, and diagnostics — then schedule and book appointments against specific locations, including surgery requests, with maintenance-mode control.
AndroHealth lets you model your physical facility — wards, beds, and locations such as private rooms, surgical theatres, and diagnostics — and then book appointments against a specific location's schedule. It also drives the surgery workflow, letting you book operating-theatre slots from surgery requests, and supports putting any location, ward, or bed into maintenance.
Go to Admin Console → Enterprise → Locations. The Beds tab is selected by default and lists configured beds.
Click Add Bed, set the bed type and the number of beds (the Bed Capacity determines how many of a type are available), then save.
Open the Ward tab and click Add Ward. To associate beds, click the add-beds button and pick from the Select Beds popup, which lists only beds not yet assigned to a ward.
A ward's Bed Capacity caps how many beds it can hold. You can remove a bed from a ward (if no patient is in it) to reassign it elsewhere.
Open the Location tab and click Add Location. The form's fields change with the Location Type — Private Room, Surgical, or Diagnostic — and you set the location's address.
Once a location has a schedule, you can book appointments against it. Booking through billing against orders, you pick an available slot for the location, then continue to billing for the selected services.
For surgical locations, view the list of surgery requests and book operating-theatre appointments from them. To book against a surgery request, first pay the bill for the selected surgery package, then schedule the appointment in the OT.
Private rooms, surgical (operating theatres), and diagnostic locations.
View the surgery requests, pay the surgery package bill, then book the operating-theatre slot.
Turn on Under Maintenance for the bed — or the whole ward — so it can't be booked.
